About Katie
Before pursuing counseling, I spent over 20 years serving others in helping professions, including roles as a 911 dispatcher, probation officer, and flight attendant. These experiences gave me firsthand insight into the unique challenges people face during times of crisis, adversity, and transition. They also deepened my appreciation for resilience and the importance of having support during life's most difficult moments.
I have a particular passion for working with first responders, veterans, and individuals who have experienced trauma. At the same time, I welcome the opportunity to work with clients from all backgrounds and walks of life. I approach counseling from a client-centered perspective, recognizing that you are the expert on your own experiences. Together, we will work collaboratively to identify your goals, develop effective coping strategies, and create a path toward healing and growth. My hope is that our work together helps you discover greater self-awareness, resilience, and confidence as you navigate life's challenges and move toward the future you envision.
